ITINERARY

DAY 1

Collection is from your hotel or home at 08:00. Our first stop which will be by the beautiful dam Karacaören where we have tea, coffee and a nice breakfast is available here if you would like. Following the scenic roads we continue to Sagalassos which has to beone of our favourite ancient cities in Turkey high up in the mountains 7 km from the small town of Aglasun. This city is on the UNESCO heritage list as a unique place for the quality and the preservation of the ruins and artefacts. After lunch we continue the drive directly to Pamukkale where we will stay around 3-4 hours giving you free time to swim in the Cleopatra pool with natural thermal sparkling water, to explore the ancient city of Hierapolis and of course to enjoy the marvellous white travertine terraces – one of the most famous images in Turkey. After watching the sunset in this spectacular setting we retire to our hotel for dinner and free time to relax and rejuvenate in the thermal pool.

DAY 2

After breakfast we begin the day with a stop by the white travertines for a photo break in the morning sun.  A really beautiful scene before we start on our drive to Denizli center where we walk through the old part of the city to see the local life of a typical Turkish city. Denizli is famous for cotton and textiles and many Turkish people come to this city to buy the dowry before a wedding.

We begin driving back towards Antalya on a different route than before with the main attraction being on this road which is the Salda Lake, called Saldives by the locals as it looks like the Maldives. This amazingly beautiful lake has long white beaches and crystal blue water as a result of the minerals in the water. We have a light lunch by the lake before we drive back to Manavgat through the Taurus Mountains where you can sit back and relax seeing the amazing views on this picturesque route.
