Experience the spectacular scenic views and favorable climate of northern Iran on this round-trip adventure.  Embrace the warm hospitality and culture, enjoy the delicious local food and visit some of the most fascinating traditional architecture and historical sites.  Travel the scenic roads driving up and through the stunning mountains and along the shoreline of the orlds largest inland body of water, the Caspian Seaside.



Arrive to Tehran, the most modern city and the capital of Iran.  Here we will visit Carpet Museums and the Saad Abad Palace in the Northern part of Tehran.This palace has a unique garden and 18 palaces dating back to 19th century, where once were used for Summer houses of Qajar and Pahlavi kings.

After a tour around we will spend time in Darband a quaint mountain village, one of the most relaxing places near Tehran and visit the Tajrish Bazar.  Taking a walk along the Tabiat Bridge, a Nature Bridge,which boasts a wonderful view over the city.


In the morning we will visit some of the most significant museums and palaces in Tehran.  We will have a walking tour in the old part of Tehran which has been the capital of Iran since 1797. The tour includes Golestan Palace, a UNESCO heritage site and Tehran Grand bazaar.

After lunch we drive to Bandar Anzali, a city of Gilan province which lies at the coast of the Caspian Sea.  The coastal scenic journey is very relaxing and enjoyable.In Manjil we will visit a Wind farm.

Arriving into Bandar Anzali, we check-in the hotel where there is free time to enjoy the beach and explore some of the local area.In the evening we will enjoy the local cuisine and culture.


After breakfast our first stop will be to Anzali city where here you will visit the most beautiful lagoon with lotus flowers, and here you can relax and watch birds flying and take in the beautiful surroundings, an authentic memorable scene.

We continue our drive with a visit to RudKhan Castle, an interesting brick and stone medieval castle which once was a very significant military complex.  Following the mountain road towards some of the most stunning landscape you will see in the province, we arrive to Masuleh village estimated to be 1000 years old.  Absorbing the natural ambience of the mountain village, especially beautiful at night as we stay in one of the local guest houses.


The Masuleh mountain village has such unique architecture as the buildings are interconnected and have been built into the mountains.The Courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets.No vehicles of any kind are permitted to enter to the city.  We will walk into the city and enjoy some time exploring and mixing with the local people selling their handicrafts. After 3 or 4 hours of free time in the town we drive to Masal, a city located high up in the Talesh mountains.


Waking up with your ‘head in the clouds’, quite literally, the cloudy mist over the panoramic views are spectacular.  This city is famous for its waterfalls and is home to some of the best in Iran.  You will experience some very interesting sightseeing whilst trekking and enjoying your free time in this beautiful mountainous nature.

Departing Masal we begin the drive towards the city of Sarein in the Ardabil province, known for it’s hot and cold springs.  The drive takes several hours and along the way we will make a few interesting stops as the road is famous for being the most scenic with one of the stops being the beautiful green ‘Poonel Jungle’.

Arrival to our destination in Sarein, we check-in the hotel and rest for the evening..


After breakfast we visit Ardabil, famous for its trade in silk and carpets. Ardabil rugs are renowned and the ancient Ardabil Carpets are considered among the best of classical Persian carpets.

We visit the historical Sheikh Safi al-din Khānegāh and Shrine Ensemble in Ardabil, listed on UNESCO, it was built as a small microcosmic city with bazaars, public baths, squares, religious buildings, houses, and offices.

We leave Ardabil and head into Sarein city, which means “Spring’s Outlet”. The Sarein springs are near an inactive volcano in mount Sabalan, its natural mineral hot springs water contains Sulphur particles and it is believed to begood for skin conditions, bone and joint pains.

In the evening we drive to the ancient city of Tabriz the capital of Azarbaijan province, one of the most famous provinces of Iran where we will check into our hotel and rest for the evening.


In the morning we start our day in Tabriz with a visit to famous Kabud Mosque, known as the Blue Mosque with intricately-painted, brilliantly blue tiles and ancient calligraphy.  A short walk, near the Blue Mosque we visit the Iron Age Museum and then onto visit Shams-e Tabrizi Tomb, a famous poet who is credited as being an instructor of Rumi.

In the afternoon we will walk around the historical Grand Bazaar, the longest roofed bazaar and the only one on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.The present-day structure, a vast maze-like complex of bricked arches and vaulted passageways, evokes the spirit of its earliest days when Tabriz was one of the most important commercial centers along the ancient Silk Road.

We will finish our day by visiting another important historical part of Tabriz, the Shah Golu, or El-Golu  a large recreational park and one of the most beautiful.


We begin our day with an excursion to the north of the Azerbaijan province where we will visit The Armenia Monastic Ensemble. Iran has the three most important Armenia churches that have been registered in the UNESCO heritage site and are considered the oldest in the world.

We visit the historic ensemble, Saint Stepanos Monastery, The Chapel of Dzor Dzor and Saint Thaddeus Cathedral. The latter one is said to be the oldest church in the world, a real piece of ancient heritage.

The Aras river,which is the border of Armenia and Iran follows us on the road as we drive back to our hotel in Tabriz and rest for the evening.


After breakfast our first visit of the day is 30 minute drive to Kandovan. This fascinating village exemplifies man-made cliff dwellings which are still inhabited. Homes are carved inside rocks, some of them 700 years old and it is believed that the Kandovan village has been partially formed by volcanic remains from a strong Mount Sahand eruption hundreds of years ago.

After lunch we continue our drive to the west of the Azerbaijan province, the city of Takab, where we check-in our hotel and rest for the evening.

DAY 10

For our last morning of our Northern Iran round-trip, we visit the ancient Takht-e Soleiman, Throne of Solomon or Azar Goshnasb Fire of Warriors.  This is a must-visit site on your trip around Iran and is an archaeological ‘cherry on the cake’.The site dates back to the first millennium BC, functioned as an educational, religious and worship place in pre-Islamic era.  The complex consist of palaces, fire temples, the Prison of Solomon and a mysterious lake.

After lunch we will drive back to Tabriz where we transfer to the airport for your international flight.
