Daily Trips From Side

Perge and Antalya

Join us for a day trip to visit Perge and Antalya.

Perge is a historical and cultural treasure that you should visit if you are interested in ancient civilizations, architecture, art, and religion. Perge was one of the oldest and richest cities in the region of Pamphylia, which is now part of Antalya province in Turkey. Perge has a long and fascinating history that spans from the 13th century BC to the Byzantine era and we will visit the impressive ruins of the Roman city that was built on the foundations of the earlier Hellenistic city. You can admire the grand theater, the stadium, the baths, the fountains, the colonnaded street, the agora, the basilicas, and the city walls and gates.

After our visit to Perge we continue to Kurşunlu National Park, a  small green canyon with many beautiful waterfalls and ponds.

Then we will drive to Antalya, the largest city on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. We will have a lunch break at a local restaurant in the Old Town and enjoy Turkish cuisine. You will also have some free time to explore the city center, where you can see the Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower, the Yivli Minare Mosque, and the Old Harbor. You will also have the option to visit the Antalya Museum, which displays a rich collection of artifacts from the ancient and medieval periods of Anatolia (especially findings from Perge)
