DAY 1
Collection from Antalya airport or your hotel/home in the morning. We drive through Antalya and make a small break in the touristic town of Kemer visiting the Marina bay. Continuing on the mountain coastline to Phaselis, an ancient city situated on a peninsula surrounded by three small, perfect bays within the beautiful Olympos Beydaglari national park. In Roman times this was an important port town and here we will spend some time walking along the Harbour Way passing by the sites of the Roman baths, the Agora and a small Roman theatre. If you want to take a swim here there is time for a small bath in one of the beautiful bays.
From Phaselis we continue to Ulupinar where we stop for a lunch in peaceful surroundings next to a small river in the pine forest Back on the road we wind down through the forest road to the river valley of Olympos, which is especially popular for students and backpackers. Back in the day this was a very trendy ‘hippie hang out’ and today is well known for camps, tree houses and bungalows. The main attraction is the ancient Lycian-Roman city of Olympos .
We continue on from here to the Adrasan Bay for our overnight stay in a boutique riverside hotel very close to the beautiful Adrasan beach. Dinner is served under the stars by the river in our hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast it's all aboard onto our boat where we delight in a full day sailing on the Mediterranean coast visiting beautiful bays, swimming in crystal clear blue waters and enjoying our freshly prepared on board lunch.This is really one of the best areas in Turkey for boat trips with stunning coastline and hidden bays. Nothing to do, just sit back and relax your mind and body.
The boat will return in the late afternoon and we will relax in our hotel before dinner.
DAY 3
After breakfast we leave Adrasan and drive westwards. We make a small break in the harbour in the cosy town Finike before we continue to Demre where we will visit St Nicholas Church and the ancient city of Myra. After lunch we will drive to Ücagiz, an amazing beautiful village. Here we get on our small boat that will take us to the ancient sunken city of Simena. This place is like paradise on earth, quiet and amazingly beautiful. After finishing the boat tour we will continue to Kaş where we check in to our hotel.
DAY 4
After a filling breakfast in the hotel you will have some time on your own for exploring the beautiful town centre in Kas. Then we will continue driving to Patara. This is both an ancient city and also one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey. You will have a couple of hours and can choose whether you want to explore the ancient city or just swim and have lunch by the sea. After lunch we continue to the ancient city of Xanthos - Letoon. This used to be the capital of Lycia and illustrates the combination of Lycian traditions and Hellenic influence. This site is on the UNESCO world heritage list. After this visit, we will cool down in Saklikent National Park, a beautiful Canyon. This is the third longest canyon in Europe and is known as the "hidden valley". Walk in the shades and enjoy the cool water while you enjoy the beautiful rock formations. After this refreshing walk we will continue to Fethiye where we check into our hotel. Free time in the evening.
DAY 5
After breakfast we drive to Kayaköy - the ghost town. This used to be a lively village with both Greek and Turks living together in harmony. After the first world war Greeks were deported from Turkey and Turks were deported from Greece and the population in this village was drastically reduced. Then an earthquake ruined the village in the fifties and after this it has been left as a ghost town. The village still has an aura and you can feel the way it must have been in the past. After this visit we continue to Ölü Deniz, the most beautiful looking beach in all of Turkey. If you want you can just enjoy a quiet day on the beach. If you are more adventurous this is considered one of the best places in the world for paragliding. You start from an amazing 1960 metres high on the Babadag mountain. Breathtaking panorama and stable weather conditions has made this place extremely popular. In the afternoon we will return to our hotel. Free time in the evening.
DAY 6
We leave Fethiye after breakfast and first we drive to Göcek. This is a famous place for sailors with a beautiful harbour and stunning views. After a short break we continue to Dalyan, a beautiful riverbank village. The Dalyan River offers an relaxing way to see the local sights. From the small boat you will see the ancient Lycian tombs and the majestic ruins of ancient Caunus. We follow the river downstream until we arrive at Iztuzu beach. This is a protected beach as the Loggerhead turtles nest here. After the boat trip we have lunch in Dalyan before we continue to Akyaka. This is a small town which has been awarded Cittaslow status. It is popular with Turkish tourists and is built in traditional old Ottoman style. We check in to the hotel before we show you around the town. Free time in the evening.
DAY 7
After breakfast we visit the beautiful Azmak river before we drive to Marmaris. Here you will get a couple of hours of free time to explore the harbour and the old city before we continue to Datca. The town of Datca is situated on the 50 mile long Datca peninsula and is the meeting point of the Agean and the Mediterranean. This peninsula is amazingly beautiful with pine-crested hills, olive groves, almond trees, bays, deserted beaches and sleepy villages. Thanks to bad road access and distance to the airport this place is still relatively untouched by tourism. We will visit the ancient city of Knidos before we check into our hotel. In the evening you can enjoy a fish meal in one of the many restaurants.
DAY 8
After breakfast and a stroll in Datca old town we leave you at your airport in Dalaman or Bodrum. We can also leave you to the bus station in Marmaris or arrange transportation to Antalya (approx 6 hours)

NOTES: We only arrange this trip in the spring and autumn. During the Turkish school holiday all these places are really crowded. It can also be really hot in July and August. In the winter time the weather is unstable and there may be quite a lot of rain.
