Collection from your hotel or home at 09:00. First stop is by the Roman bridge close to the Aspendos ancient city where we will explore inside of the magnificent Aspendos Roman Amphitheatre, the best preserved ancient amphitheatre in Turkey and it has been said in the world. It bears the traces from different historic periods and was built during the reign of Marcus Aurelius between 160-180 AD. Aspendos is also famous for its original Roman aqueducts which were designed to carry water from the mountains to the city 15 km away. We will also make an extra walk to the upper part of the city to explore some of the ancient city ruins here.
We will continue driving through the winding village roads and follow the Köpruçay River northwards. Our next stop is the small, beautiful Zeytintaşı Cave. This cave was discovered in 1997 during quarry works. The cave is very interesting to see, it has nice speleothems and there are pure white stalactites with almost no damages and thousands of soda straws all over the ceiling. It really is a delight to see.
Continuing on our drive through the small mountain villages you will see the natural village lifestyle and the unspoilt nature before you arrive at the Uçansu Waterfall. We will have lunch and time for a swim in the small lake under the beautiful waterfall, natural and serene. After free time we will drive direct back to your hotel or home.
